Support

Overview​

UiCore is the interface layer of the BTC server. It brings the player's everyday actions together in a single unified menu, opened with a dedicated item in the hotbar, with no key to learn and no client mod to install. Java and Bedrock players use the same menu, and the whole interface follows one graphic theme.

UiCore runs on the BTC build of TypeWriter and is marked alpha (0.1.0-alpha).

What players get​

  • One menu for everything — a single entry point, with tabs for home, character, islands, world, quests, codex, battle pass, social, shop and help.
  • Wardrobe — outfits and accessories that the player can switch between, and cosmetics that can be removed category by category.
  • Groups and guilds — recruitment is either open to anyone or by invitation only, and the setting stays consistent across the servers of the network.
  • Live translation — the player picks a language and the menus switch immediately, content included. French and English come first; the other languages are being proofread.
  • Three display widths — compact, standard and extended, so the menu fits every screen.
  • Tooltips — details appear when hovering an element, instead of cluttering the screen.
  • Bedrock parity — Bedrock players get the same screens as forms.

What the team gets​

  • Screens are data — they are edited from the Typewriter panel, with no code changes.
  • Services stay in charge — the menu presents what other extensions provide, such as quests, codex, battle pass, cosmetics, pets and social features. It only shows data from extensions that are installed.
  • A consistent look — one theme applies to every screen, so new content blends in.

Some tabs are still being refined, and further improvements to the menu and to other in-game interface elements are planned. They will be documented here when they ship.
