Paint Biome Region Action

Paint a biome over a region, with an optional snapshot to undo it later

Paints a whole region, optionally recording what was there first. The region comes either from the player's WorldEdit selection or from a radius around them. Positions are collected on the quart grid, the same grid the world actually stores, so a large selection costs a fraction of what a per-block walk would.

How to use it

  • region is either WORLDEDIT_SELECTION (the triggering player's selection, WorldEdit required) or RADIUS_AROUND_PLAYER (using radius).
  • Set snapshotId to record the previous biomes under that name, and undo the paint later with Restore Biome. Without it, the paint cannot be undone.
  • Painting changes the world for every player. To change what only one player sees, use Player Biome Overlay.
