Biome Overlay Audience
Show a biome to the audience without changing the world
Shows a biome to everyone in the audience, and gives the real world back on the way out. This is the audience-driven counterpart of player_biome_overlay_action. The action fires once and has to be undone by hand; this follows the player's state instead. Placed under a criteria_audience, a biome appears and disappears with a fact, a quest stage or any other criterion, with nothing left to clean up.
Felder
| Feld | Typ | Standard | Beschreibung |
|---|---|---|---|
biome | Ref<CustomBiomeDefinitionEntry> | — | Custom biome to show, picked from its definition |
vanillaBiome | String | — | Vanilla biome identifier, used only when no custom biome is picked. Example: 'minecraft:deep_dark' |
cornerA | Position | ORIGIN | First corner of the region covered. Leave both corners empty to follow the player instead. |
cornerB | Position | ORIGIN | Opposite corner of the region covered |
chunkRadius | Var<Int> | 5 | Chunk radius around the player, used only when no region is set |
restoreOnExit | Boolean | true | Give the real biome back when the player leaves the audience |
How to use it
Place this entry under an audience that decides who is concerned (a quest step, a fact, a region). Pick a custom biome in biome, or write a vanilla identifier in vanillaBiome. Set cornerA and cornerB to cover a zone, or leave them empty to cover chunkRadius chunks around the player. With restoreOnExit, the real biome returns when the player leaves the audience.
